RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS

Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd believes in creating ease and simplicity for our customers by providing a remarkable shopping experience, and we aim to be accommodating with our Returns Policy.

Returns will be accepted within 7 working days of purchase. The Client will receive a full credit subject to the following considerations:

Please note: The Client will be charged for shipping of returns after the 7 day window period.

  • All products returned must be unopened, in their original packaging and must be in a saleable condition.
  • Original Invoice / Purchase Order needs to be presented

Returns outside the 7 day FREE return window period:

The Client will be charged a 15% handling fee and receive an 85% refund on unused, uninstalled products, excluding any shipping costs.

Any delivery charges or free shipping applied to your original order may be deducted from your return credit, with a minimum deduction of R150.

Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will offer 100% credit for goods returned for exchange (alternative products) for equal or higher value on the original purchase. 

Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd does not accept returns on light bulbs, cut cable or imported or specialised items / special orders. (This includes any products not listed on our website).

No credit will be passed on Switchgear products / Earth leakages, changeover switch, Invertors, Multi-meters and any other electrical equipment until the product has been tested and is in working order. 

  • Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd requires confirmation from the manufacturer that the item returned is not faulty and in working condition for resale. - A test and report letter from manufacturer is required.
  • Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd needs to confirm that there was no misuse or incorrect installation which may have caused the item to be faulty.
  • The turnaround time for the returned item for testing could take up to a minimum of 15 days to be completed and resolved.
  • Once resolved Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will credit or replace the purchased items.

Products Warranties 

The warranty for items purchased from Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd is valid for 12 Months from date of purchase - Proof of purchase / invoice has to be provided.

The warranties entitle the purchaser to a replacement of the same product. Should an identical product not be availableAbner Electrical (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to replace it with a similar product.

If a product has a Warranty longer that 12 months, Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will uphold this warranty however Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will hold this warranty up to a maximum of 2 years.

- Proof of purchase / invoice has to be provided.

Replacement Warranty includes the following:

Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to repair or replace a product with a similar product/s at the same price where the original product is no longer available. 

The products need to be returned in original packaging if the products is returned within 3 months.

Returns for refunds or replacement out of warranty will not be attended to under any circumstance.

Damaged Goods

Any product that is received damaged must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will not accept responsibility for any damages not reported within this time frame. Upon receiving notification that your product is damaged, Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will file a claim with the shipper. Claims typically take 7-10 business days to process. Please do not discard the damaged product until you receive instruction from Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd. After the claims process has been completed, Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd will send a replacement fixture at no cost to you.

Failure to follow this procedure may result in a charge for the free replacement item.

Products received with broken glass or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, we will provide replacement glass or shades at no additional charge. Should you wish to return a product that was received with broken glass or a dented shade, the standard Returns Policy above will apply.

Please note that Abner Electrical (Pty) Ltd regrets any errors or omissions that may occur. Sizes and colours could vary from the actual product.
